Wearable Optic Crystal Glass Sculpting Process by Jack Storms
Share
Currently, I am working on many new designs for wearable art.
The wearable sculpture designs follows the same creative process and spirit as my larger, more dynamic sculptures.
The purpose of these particular works are to adorn the body.
And my design philosophy revolves around creating something that fosters a closer connection with people.
I want people to have a personal item they can take with them and truly fall in love with. The approach I take is similar to my larger artworks.
I start by laminating multiple pieces of optic crystal together to form a core piece.
This core serves as the foundation, and from there, I carefully extract beautiful crystal gems hidden within.
I believe the future holds great promise for wearable art, and I anticipate seeing its prevalence grow in the coming years.
